Dhaka-- – The main index at Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a rise yesterday (Sunday) with the gainers outnumbering the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index gained 1.71 points or 0.28 percent to close at 616.16 points from 614.45 points on Saturday.

The DSE-20 index also rose by 0.36 percent to close at 1200.17 points yesterday.

Of the 149 listed securities traded yesterday, 62 advanced, 61 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

Some 2,289,260 shares and debentures valued at Tk 9.47 crore were transacted 3,013,598 shares worth Tk 14.23 crore on the previous trading day.

Sinobangla (716,500), Rose Heaven (329,000), Miracle Industry (197,500), Beximco Pharma (163,350) and Rangpur Foundry (146,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 58.73 billion from Saturday’s 58.57 billion.
